Description

Support WebSphere MQ and WebSphere Application Server systems in a production environment. Own the stability of middleware infrastructure and resolve outages.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and debug production interfaces to resolve application or infrastructure outages.
• Support WebSphere MQ and WebSphere Application Server to ensure system stability.
• Analyze problem records and drive technical solutions to improve deliverables.
• Collect MQ trace data and coordinate directly with vendors for issue resolution.
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation for Middleware and other applications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in production support or middleware environments.
• Proficiency with WebSphere MQ.
• Experience with Java.
• Ability to analyze, design, code, test, and debug production fixes.
• Experience managing application and infrastructure outages.
• Ability to document and install technical solutions independently.
• Degree in any field of study.
