Description

You will design, develop, and maintain backend services and cloud-native applications using Java and AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Core Java and integrate RESTful APIs.
• Build and manage microservices-based applications to ensure modularity and scalability.
• Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate build, testing, and deployment processes.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues within Java applications and AWS environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java (Java 8 or higher) including multithreading, collections, and concurrency.
• Hands-on experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs using JSON and HTTP.
• Practical experience with AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, API Gateway, and CloudFormation.
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency with Git for version control and repository management.
• Experience using Maven, Jenkins, or Gradle for build automation.
• Testing expertise using JUnit, TestNG, Postman, or RestAssured.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Spring Boot, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices including ECS, EKS, and AWS CodePipeline.
• AWS Certified Developer – Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification.
