Description

Lead the end-to-end implementation of data warehouses and data marts using Java and Spark.

Responsibilities

• Design and build data warehouse and data mart solutions from end to end.
• Apply Agile development practices, including build automation, pair programming, and testing automation.
• Manage code through branching and forking workflows.
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to deliver technical requirements.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of Information Technology experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Hadoop, Spark, and Java.
• Strong proficiency in SQL.
• Proficiency in Unix shell scripting.
• Experience with Agile application development and code management.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent, or equivalent progressive experience.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of data integration, data quality, and data architecture.
• Experience with Relational Modeling, Dimensional Modeling, and modeling unstructured data.
• Background in the Financial Services domain.
