You will develop and maintain advanced Android applications using Kotlin and Java.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Translate UI/UX designs into responsive, high-quality code.
• Identify bottlenecks and resolve bugs to ensure application stability.
• Collaborate with designers and engineers to meet user specifications.
• Implement new technologies to enhance application functionality.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in Android app development.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java programming languages.
• Extensive knowledge of the Android SDK and Android design principles.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Fluency in English for collaboration with engineering managers.
• Ability to work full-time with a 4-hour overlap with U.S. time zones.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with REST, JSON, cloud messaging APIs, and offline storage.
• Knowledge of threading, caching, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with Git, including branching, merging, and pull requests.
