Senior Java Developer role in Austin, TX. You will design, build, and analyze microservices-based solutions using Java and Spring Boot. You own the full development lifecycle from coding to release automation.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable microservices using Spring Boot and Java.
• Apply SOLID principles and established design patterns to ensure high code quality.
• Mentor team members on technical implementation, testing strategies, and best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate client requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and SCRUM workflows to drive delivery.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of Core Java development experience.
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Hands-on development experience with Angular.
• Proficiency with Oracle Database.
• Experience with build automation tools like Jenkins.
• Proficiency with version control systems: Git, GitHub, and Bitbucket.
• Experience using Rational Application Developer and Toad.
• Solid understanding of SOLID principles and Design Patterns.
• Proven experience working within Agile and SCRUM methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Strong technical problem-solving and design thinking capabilities.
