Description

You will lead a small team in designing and implementing middleware solutions using Java and Apache Camel.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver microservice API solutions within an AWS environment.
• Lead a team of 2-5 people through task assignment, code reviews, and technical mentorship.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs and actionable implementation plans.
• Spend approximately 40% of your time performing hands-on coding and 60% on design and team guidance.
• Build and enhance existing APIs that interact with various backend systems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in Java and J2EE.
• Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience with Apache Camel, including writing code, using components, and managing routes.
• Experience with AWS services including EC2, Security Groups, ALB, ECS, VPC, subnets, and Lambda.
• Practical experience with Docker containers and REST API development.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and JUnit for testing.
• Ability to perform performance and system testing.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Red Hat Fuse.
• Business Process Modelling (BPM) experience.
