Description

Lead design and implementation of middleware solutions using Java and Apache Camel within an AWS environment. Balance hands-on coding (40%) with technical mentorship and architecture (60%).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver microservice API solutions on AWS.
• Lead a small team (2-5 people) through task assignment, code reviews, and technical guidance.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs and actionable implementation plans.
• Build and enhance existing APIs interacting with various backend systems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and J2EE.
• 1-2 years of hands-on Apache Camel experience, including route management and component usage.
• Deep AWS experience: EC2, Security Groups, ALB, ECS, VPC, subnets, and Lambda.
• Practical experience with Docker containers and REST API development.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and JUnit for testing.
• Ability to perform performance and system testing.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Red Hat Fuse.
• Business Process Modelling (BPM) experience.
