Description

Design and lead the architecture of scalable, secure RESTful APIs and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Architect event-driven systems, integration patterns, and service orchestration.
• Manage the full API lifecycle including design, versioning, documentation, and monitoring.
• Drive performance optimization, resiliency, and fault tolerance strategies.
• Collaborate with DevOps to ensure CI/CD enablement and deployment automation.
• Mentor development teams through design reviews and code quality assessments.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Deep expertise in RESTful API design and Microservices architecture.
• Experience with Kafka and messaging frameworks for async integrations.
• Strong SQL skills and data modeling (Oracle, PostgreSQL).
• Proficiency in OAuth2, JWT, and secure API design.
• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design and service decomposition.
• Familiarity with API Gateway and middleware integration.
