Description

Senior Java API Developer owning the design, development, and maintenance of distributed systems and RESTful APIs. You will collaborate with external teams and internal pods to define technical requirements and implement asynchronous data streams.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect technical solutions for distributed systems.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and GraphQL services.
• Implement asynchronous and reactive frameworks to handle data streams.
• Manage data persistence across SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Partner with external teams to define and discuss technical requirements.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Java development.
• Expertise in Core Java, including Collections, Streams, Sorting, and Factory classes.
• Proficiency with Java 8, Spring Boot, and Spring Security.
• Deep understanding of Inversion of Control and Dependency Injection.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka and asynchronous/reactive frameworks.
• Experience with Tomcat, Maven, Gradle, and GitHub.
• Proven track record of developing RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Oracle DB, MongoDB, and Redis.
• Experience with GraphQL.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Spring Webflux, Apache Flink, Java 11, or Quarkus.
