Description

You will build, test, and manage the full lifecycle of REST-based APIs.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and test scalable REST APIs with a focus on caching, security, and database integration.
• Create technical API documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Support applications in production environments and interface with customers daily.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, planning, demos, and retrospectives.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Java development experience with a focus on Microservices.
• Extensive experience building Spring Boot web applications.
• Proficiency with MongoDB, MySQL, and Elasticsearch.
• Experience integrating Spring Boot with message-based tools like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or MQSeries.
• Hands-on experience with Hibernate, JPA, and JMS.
• Ability to write automated unit, functional, and end-to-end tests using JUnit.
• Strong programming fundamentals and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word, MS Project, MS PowerPoint, and MS Visio.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working within a start-up environment.
