Build and maintain scalable, secure API solutions using Java and Spring Boot in Toronto, ON, Canada.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Implement data access layers using JPA, Hibernate, and ORM tools.
• Translate business requirements into efficient API architectures.
• Apply security measures including authentication, authorization, and input validation.
• Troubleshoot API performance bottlenecks and resolve technical issues.

Required Skills

• 4-6 years of experience working on Java projects.
• Proficiency with JAVA 17.
• Experience building REST Web Services.
• Hands-on expertise with Spring Boot 3.2.
• Experience with Hibernate-JPA/Spring Data R2DB.
• Knowledge of JPA and Hibernate.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency with GitHub, JIRA, and Jenkins.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud technologies.
