Description

Design and develop scalable microservices and multi-tier architectures for the airline domain.

Responsibilities

• Architect multi-tier systems and guide teams in functional programming approaches using Java/JEE.
• Build microservices with Spring Boot and implement event-driven architectures.
• Solve complex business requirements involving memory management, multi-threading, and asynchronous processing.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines following TDD and 12-factor application principles.
• Optimize system performance, data integrity, and integrations.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on software development experience in Java.
• Expertise in Spring Framework and Spring Boot for microservices.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services including EC2, Lambda, S3, and Route 53.
• Experience with Kubernetes or OpenShift for container orchestration.
• Proficiency with Relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with REST APIs, including exposing and consuming services.
• Experience with unit testing using Mockito.
• Proficiency with monitoring tools like SumoLogic and Dynatrace.
• Experience with Git (GitHub, Bitbucket) and DevOps practices.
• Understanding of OAuth2.0 and OpenID Connect protocols.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of airline domain concepts such as Pricing, Booking, Seat Selection, and Baggage.
• Application security principles and 12-factor app development.
