Description

Own operational support for the WebSphere Commerce Suite (WCS) 8.x platform, ensuring optimal performance and availability of online commerce systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve e-commerce application issues to maintain service continuity.
• Monitor system health and performance using APM solutions.
• Perform database management and query optimization using SQL.
• Manage Linux/Unix command line operations for system administration.
• Configure and maintain web servers and load balancers.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in application or technical support roles.
• 2+ years hands-on experience with WebSphere Commerce Suite (WCS) 8.x.
• Proficiency in database technologies including Db2, Oracle, and SQL Server.
• Strong SQL skills for data manipulation and troubleshooting.
• Experience with APM monitoring tools such as AppDynamics or Dynatrace.
• Working knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and command line operations.
• Understanding of web technologies, HTTP/HTTPS protocols, and load balancers.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years tenure in previous support roles.
