Description

You will own the full SDLC for event-driven services in the telecommunications domain.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver Java/Spring Boot applications using XP practices like TDD and pair programming.
• Implement event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka and Artemis with REST APIs.
• Design, optimize, and maintain MySQL and Amazon RDS databases, including indexing and query tuning.
• Configure and maintain SRE observability using Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger, and OpenTelemetry.
• Support production issues and coordinate with offshore teams and business stakeholders.

Required Skills

• Strong experience developing Java applications with Spring Boot.
• Proficiency with JBoss WildFly, Apache Artemis, and Apache Kafka.
• Experience with REST APIs and event-driven architecture patterns.
• Database expertise in MySQL, Amazon RDS, and OpenSearch, including data modeling and query optimization.
• Knowledge of SRE tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger, and OpenTelemetry for monitoring and tracing.
• Familiarity with IAM concepts (Azure Entra ID, RBAC, SSO) and traffic layers (NGINX, Apache HTTP Server).
• Understanding of IT SDLC phases and Agile principles.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 2+ years of experience.
