Description

You will design and develop complex, modern web applications using Java and J2EE technologies, focusing on REST APIs, microservices, and performance optimization.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement REST API patterns and microservices architectures.
• Develop secure application components using Spring Security and OAuth.
• Manage application deployment and lifecycle using Git, Maven, and Jenkins.
• Optimize Java performance through tuning and containerization.
• Work within RedHat Linux and Windows operating environments.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Java application development.
• Deep knowledge of J2EE and Web Services.
• Proficiency with the Spring Framework, including dependency injection and Spring-WS.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Security and OAuth.
• Experience designing REST APIs and microservices.
• Competency with Git, Maven, Jenkins, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Experience with MySQL databases.
• Knowledge of Azure cloud services, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Java tuning and performance optimization.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Angular, UI design patterns, and scripting (JavaScript, XSLT, ANT).
• Knowledge of JSSE for encryption and Agile development methodologies.
• Background in the financial industry working on high-availability, high-usage applications.
