Description

You will develop and enhance cloud-native applications deployed on AWS, focusing on microservices and serverless architectures.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and deploy microservices on AWS EKS (Kubernetes) and serverless components using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, and EventBridge.
  • Develop secure RESTful APIs and event-driven services to support distributed system architectures.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Troubleshoot application, integration, and performance issues in production environments.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth container deployments and release cycles.

Required Skills

  • 4+ years of hands-on software development experience in Java, Python, or Node.js.
  • 2+ years of experience building and deploying applications on AWS.
  • 2+ years of experience working with AWS EKS (Kubernetes) for containerized application development.
  • 2+ years of experience developing serverless applications using AWS Lambda.
  • 2+ years of experience building APIs, microservices, and integration services.
  • Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, CodePipeline).
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native design patterns and event-driven architectures.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

  • AWS Certified Developer – Associate or AWS Certified Kubernetes specialty.
  • Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and observability tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana).
  • Experience in financial services or brokerage domain.
