Description

You will develop distributed systems capable of processing high volumes of data for risk monitoring and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java Spark applications.
• Implement data lineage solutions to track data flow and maintain metadata repositories.
• Build middle-tier components including data ingestion frameworks, subscription managers, and event workflows.
• Write clean, maintainable code and troubleshoot applications to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and ship new features.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of hands-on experience with Core Java.
• 2+ years of experience with Spark-based processing.
• 3+ years of experience with SQL and database design, including optimized querying of large relational databases.
• Strong proficiency in Spring, Data Structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Experience building multi-threaded applications within a service-oriented architecture.
• Experience with event-based system orchestration and rule-based systems.
• Ability to write scripts in Shell or Python.
• Experience with unit testing using JUnit/BDD.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps automation.

Preferred Skills

• Risk or Financial Systems development experience.
• Understanding of Massive Parallel Processing (MPP) architecture.
• Knowledge of Python libraries such as NumPy and Pandas.
