Description

You will design, develop, and maintain Java Spark applications, shipping new features and ensuring optimal performance through clean, efficient code and rigorous testing.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship new features in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Java code.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience with Core Java.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Spark using Java.
• 5+ years of experience with SQL and database design.
• Strong object-oriented design and development skills using Spring.
• Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Experience developing event-based system orchestration.
• Experience developing rule-based systems.
• Ability to build multi-threaded applications within a service-oriented architecture.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Risk or Financial Systems development.
• Understanding of massive parallel processing (MPP) architecture for high-volume data.
• Knowledge of Python syntax and libraries including NumPy and Pandas.
