Description

You will develop Java applications and scalable solutions within a banking Agile Squad.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop hands-on features using Java and related technologies.
• Design and build Java applications based on Microservices architecture.
• Lead IT deliverables and communicate technical details to stakeholders.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including planning and stand-ups.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in core Java 1.8 or higher.
• Proficiency in Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring Security.
• Strong understanding of Microservices architecture and design principles.
• Experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, MQ, Tomcat).
• Expertise in database design, SQL, and PL/SQL tuning (DB2 preferred).
• Experience developing user interfaces using Angular.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of design patterns and their effective application.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of Unix/Linux and scripting languages.
• Exposure to JIRA or other ALM tools.
