Description

You will support and maintain high-availability, transaction-based financial services platforms and client-facing applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage outage incidents by coordinating user communications and technical teams to drive resolution.
• Perform log analysis and troubleshooting for Java and web service environments.
• Monitor infrastructure availability across web/app servers, network devices, MQs, and databases.
• Execute incident, problem, and change management processes to ensure system stability.

Required Skills

• 7-15 years of hands-on experience in application support or development for financial services.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java, J2EE, and Java concurrency.
• Experience with SOAP and REST web services.
• Practical knowledge of Spring and Dependency Injection frameworks.
• Strong SQL skills with experience in MSSQL, including tables, views, indexes, and stored procedures.
• Experience using performance monitoring tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, or Netcool.
• Proficiency with ticketing tools like ServiceNow, Remedy, or Jira.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Agile and DevOps/SRE methodologies.
• Background in administering large-scale, high-availability systems.
