Description

You will provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for Java applications in complex, multi-application environments.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot Java applications using thread and heap analysis to resolve performance issues.
• Perform deep log analysis using Splunk to pinpoint application errors through custom adhoc queries.
• Monitor application health and business transactions using AppDynamics, Dynatrace, or New Relic.
• Investigate application to database interactions, including JDBC connection utilization and connection pool optimization.
• Automate administration tasks using shell scripting in Linux environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Java application support.
• Advanced Java troubleshooting including thread and heap analysis.
• Proficiency in Splunk for log analysis and developing custom search queries.
• Experience with APM tools such as AppDynamics, Dynatrace, or New Relic.
• Strong understanding of Oracle and MongoDB database interactions.
• Ability to analyze DB reports like AWR and optimize JDBC connections.
• Linux environment support and shell scripting for automation.
• Experience managing Microservices and troubleshooting logging/forwarding issues.
