Description

You will lead L1 and L2 support operations for production Java-based microservices in AWS, ensuring system stability and reliability.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Own incident, problem, and service request management following ITIL practices.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues within Java Spring Boot microservices and cloud-native infrastructure.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for production issues to prevent recurrence.
• Mentor team members and communicate technical status to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Maintain 24/7 coverage by working rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in L1/L2 support roles focusing on incident and problem management.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services: EC2, EKS, S3, RDS, and Lambda.
• Deep understanding of Java-based application troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Proficiency with monitoring tools: AWS CloudWatch, Splunk, and Datadog.
• Strong grounding in ITIL frameworks (Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Management).
• Ability to apply logical problem-solving and analytical skills under production pressure.
• Experience managing cloud-native application support.

Preferred Skills

• Scripting and automation experience using Python, Bash, YAML, or Terraform.
