Lead architectural design and end-to-end development for microservices and API-driven applications in Hopkins, MN.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop logical and physical database layers, managing distribution, security, and access requirements.
• Build and implement microservices and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and Python.
• Architect secure integration patterns for external APIs and define necessary security protocols.
• Create data models and develop Proof of Concepts (POCs) for new system designs.
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment elegance and efficiency.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in application architecture with a strong Java background.
• Hands-on experience with Java EE design, Spring Boot, and Python.
• Proficiency in SQL databases like PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases like Cassandra or Azure Cloud Databases.
• Expertise in Microservices, GraphQL, and API Security.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Istio, Rancher, and Jenkins/Cloudbees.
• Competency with monitoring tools such as Splunk, CloudWatch, Datadog, or Kibana.
• Experience using API automation frameworks like Rest Assured, JMeter, Postman, or Cucumber.
• Strong systems design, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Degree in any graduate field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with streaming technologies like Apache Kafka or Spark.
• Cloud-native development experience in Azure or AWS.
• Knowledge of React.js workflows such as Flux or Redux.
