Description

Split time between architectural design and hands-on development for J2EE applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect application frameworks for J2EE platforms.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and product owners to define technical solutions.
• Write high-quality code using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architectures.
• Develop and optimize database queries using Oracle or PL/SQL.
• Apply engineering practices including TDD, ATDD, pair programming, and refactoring.

Required Skills

• 8-10+ years of hands-on coding experience in Java, C#, or a major OO language.
• 5-7+ years of experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Microservices.
• Strong proficiency in Java 8, Spring Boot, and backend development.
• Expertise in database querying with Oracle, PL/SQL, or SQL.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes containers.
• Proficiency in web services including REST and SOAP.
• Working knowledge of JSON, XML, and JavaScript.
• 5+ years of experience contributing to agile software development teams.
