You will design and architect modern business and consumer-facing web applications and distributed systems.

Since is_remote, hybrid, and on_site are all 0, no work-mode line is added.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful APIs and cloud-native applications using microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Model complex architectures using frameworks such as C4, UML, Archimate, or Arc42.
• Perform hands-on code development, troubleshooting, and rapid proof-of-concept prototyping with engineering teams.
• Implement robust logging, tracing, and end-to-end system traceability.
• Collaborate with business and product teams to analyze requirements and communicate technical implications on user experience.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in advanced technologies with at least 5 years in a technical architect role.
• Expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and J2EE technologies.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Kafka, and Kong.
• Deep knowledge of security architecture including SAML, OIDC/OAuth2, mTLS, and identity management.
• Experience with event-driven architecture, microservices, and distributed design patterns.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools including SVN, GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, and JIRA.
• Experience with NoSQL concepts and GraphQL API development using Apollo or similar.
• Familiarity with code quality tools like SonarQube and application performance monitoring.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with financial system integrations and transaction management.
• Experience with IBM technologies including WebSphere, API Connect, and DataPower.
