Description

Define and lead the technical architecture for new development projects, owning the design, implementation, and deployment of cloud-native solutions on AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud network and service architecture within AWS, including VPC, subnets, and security groups.
• Develop and own file processing applications using Spring Batch and event-driven architectures.
• Apply microservices patterns, including the Outbox pattern, to ensure data consistency across services.
• Define data models and schemas for PostgreSQL and DynamoDB, ensuring scalability and performance.
• Own the deployment strategy, executing Blue/Green and Canary releases via Gitlab CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in software architecture and development.
• Expert-level proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with microservices patterns and event-driven design.
• Deep knowledge of Spring Batch for high-volume file processing.
• Proficiency in AWS Cloud Infrastructure architecture.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Familiarity with REST API specifications and event schema design.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
• Proficiency with Gitlab for CI/CD pipeline management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with message queuing services such as AWS SQS.
• Familiarity with container orchestration platforms like EKS or EC2.
