Description

You will design and lead the development of complex Java-based applications and relational database systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and code high-level Java applications using object-oriented principles.
• Debug complex code, perform builds, and manage application rollouts.
• Execute SQL development and manage data within relational databases.
• Implement unit testing, test-driven development, and integration testing.
• Deploy applications using cloud technologies within Agile or Waterfall environments.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with Java application and relational database technologies.
• Expert-level proficiency in Java, JDBC, REST, ANT, and GIT.
• Strong object-oriented programming and debugging skills.
• Experience with SQL development and relational databases.
• 2+ years of experience with BASH scripting or Python development.
• Proficiency in both Linux and Windows development environments.
• Experience with unit testing, TDD, and integration testing.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Mainframe technologies including COBOL, CICS, JCL, and DB2.
• Ability to quickly learn and implement new third-party development frameworks.
