Description

You will design and oversee high-volume distributed systems and cloud-native applications.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design microservices and event-based architectures for digital transformation.
• Architect cloud-native applications using containerization and modern deployment strategies.
• Define ETL, data replication, and aggregation strategies for large-scale systems.
• Implement high-performance caching and messaging solutions using Redis, Hazelcast, and Kafka.
• Ensure application and data security, addressing PII and PCI compliance.

Required Skills

• 18+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years in an architecture role.
• Expert-level Java and related frameworks.
• Deep understanding of microservices and event-driven architecture.
• Experience building high-volume, high-performance systems.
• Proficiency with RDBMS (Oracle, MS SQL).
• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB).
• Knowledge of cloud-native patterns and containerization.
• Experience with ETL and data replication.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AI/ML and Python.
