Description

Design minimal, functional, and extensible technical architectures within an Agile environment, translating business requirements into actionable technical designs.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Produce architectures that balance performance and stability with simplicity in complex environments.
• Lead data modelling efforts to support microservices and cloud-native applications.
• Oversee technical implementations involving database migrations from Oracle to Postgres.
• Ensure designs account for authentication protocols, mTLS, certificates, and OAuth.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development and architecture.
• Strong background in Java 8 and Spring Boot.
• Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including GKE, CloudSQL, Cloud Functions, GCS, PubSub, Dataflow, and BigQuery.
• Proficiency in RDBMS, specifically Oracle and Postgres, with a focus on Postgres performance design.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Microservices architecture.
• Experience using Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Competency with GitHub Workflow and Actions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing large-scale migrations from Oracle to Postgres.
