Description

You will lead the design and development of complex software applications and specific functional areas.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and development of assigned system areas based on architectural requirements.
• Analyze complex data and situational factors to solve technical problems.
• Develop software using Java EE, Hibernate, and RESTful interfaces.
• Collaborate with distributed teams across multiple geographic locations.

Required Skills

• 10 to 12 years of experience designing and developing complex software applications.
• Minimum of 10 years in a product design or development role.
• At least 3 years of hands-on Java EE experience with expert-level proficiency in Java.
• Experience with Hibernate and RESTful interfaces.
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments and Application Servers such as Tomcat or JBOSS.
• Experience with Postgres or Microsoft SQL Server.
• Proficiency in XML, XSLT, and XQUERY.
• Experience with JBOSS-SEAM/WELD, Camunda, and RabbitMQ.

Preferred Skills

• Deep knowledge of public or private clouds including AWS, Azure, GCS, or VMware.
• Experience with protocols such as TCP/IP, SNMP, Telnet, SSH, FTP, and SOAP.
