Description

You will design and build a low-latency electronic trading platform for US rates from the ground up.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new architecture for the electronic trading platform, covering production and research elements.
• Implement initial key components to drive the delivery of a minimum viable product.
• Provide technical guidance and mentor the development team.
• Apply software tools and techniques to maintain code quality, flexibility, and security.
• Participate in all phases of the software delivery lifecycle, from analysis through to support.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of enterprise development experience with hands-on Java (JDK 11 or 17).
• Extensive experience with asynchronous, event-driven programming and concurrency.
• Strong proficiency with Java, Spring, Apache Camel, REST API, JMS, and SQL.
• Ability to design and support low latency, high throughput trading applications.
• Experience handling high throughput (1000s of events/updates per second) with low latency.
• Ability to work effectively with business and technology partners across an organization.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of capital markets, including pricing, trade execution workflow, and vendor systems like ION, TradeWeb, or Bloomberg.
• Experience with enterprise authentication, monitoring, and state management.
