Description

You will design and lead the architecture for high-throughput, cloud-native data pipelines and microservices on Google Cloud Platform.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement batch and streaming data pipelines using Apache Beam SDK.
• Design scalable microservices using Java 17+, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.
• Ensure system reliability by addressing distributed systems challenges like consistency and fault tolerance.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and observability practices using tools like Jenkins, Grafana, and Cloud Logging.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience with Java 17+, including concurrency and performance optimization.
• Deep expertise in Microservices architecture and cloud-native design patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Beam for data processing.
• Proficiency with GCP services: Google Pub/Sub, Cloud Spanner, Cloud Dataflow, and Cloud Storage.
• Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD tools.
• Experience with Redis for caching and distributed state.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
