Description

Design and implement scalable backend architectures and microservices for high-throughput API services.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build highly scalable, high-throughput API services using Node.js and Express.
• Lead code reviews and implement code quality tools to maintain engineering standards.
• Manage the full stack from user interface through to system-level integration.
• Debug complex issues including memory leaks and asynchronous runtime quirks.
• Ensure all solutions meet accessibility and security compliance requirements.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional JavaScript development experience.
• 3+ years of Node.js development experience.
• Deep understanding of Node.js asynchronous runtime, callbacks, and closures.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, ES6, HTML, CSS, and Ajax.
• Experience with Microservices architecture and RESTful web services.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and CI/CD processes.
• Strong backend knowledge in Java, .NET, or Python.
• Database experience with MongoDB, NoSQL, SQLite, or Redis.
• Proficiency with Git, Maven, Jenkins, and JSON.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of software design patterns and network implementation.
• Ability to present technical information and manage projects.
