Description

Lead the architectural design and technical execution of microservices-based systems and legacy transformations in Piscataway, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Design modular batch services and next-generation applications using modern programming paradigms.
• Lead monolithic to microservices transformation projects by applying 12-factor app principles and Domain Driven Design.
• Implement non-functional requirements including logging, monitoring, autoscaling, and system resilience.
• Refactor and reverse engineer legacy application code to improve system architecture.
• Participate in requirement elicitation sessions, technical analysis, and effort estimation.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software architecture and development.
• Deep expertise in Java (versions 8, 11+) including Collections, Streams, and Functional Programming.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, ECS, EKS, SNS, and SQS.
• Strong understanding of Microservice communication patterns, Design Patterns, and Principles.
• Proficiency with DevOps tools such as Bitbucket, Jenkins, Swagger, and Postman.
• Knowledge of security protocols including JWT, OAuth, and SAML.
• Experience with SQL and Node.js.
• Ability to implement Reactive Programming and Object-Oriented Programming paradigms.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
