Description

You will design and oversee the architecture of complex web applications and backend services, owning end-to-end architectural decisions and service reliability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and recommend strategies for legacy application maintenance, deciding between rewriting or patching existing pages.
• Solve challenging technical problems independently while providing clear updates on progress and blockers to the team.
• Collaborate with partner teams and stakeholders to communicate technical results and project status.
• Manage complex backend services within ambiguous requirements.

Required Skills

• 11+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and J2EE.
• Strong proficiency with JSF, JavaScript, jQuery, and YUI.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD, and Test Driven Development (TDD).
• Practical knowledge of Agile development processes.
• Banking domain experience.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of AWS capabilities including EC2 and Serverless/Lambda.
