Description

Lead application modernization by transitioning monolithic systems to microservices and event-driven architectures.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable Java-based systems and design high-level and low-level microservices architectures.
• Lead application re-architecting projects to move from monoliths to microservices.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architects and Product Owners to define business requirements and technical solutions.
• Identify hardware and software infrastructure needs to meet architectural goals.
• Troubleshoot design flaws, system bottlenecks, and provide technical support to the development team.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software or Java architecture.
• Expertise in Java, Java Beans, and Java Servlets.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Kafka.
• Proficiency with Apigee Management and various use case designs.
• Experience with JavaScript and web programming.
• Strong understanding of software network design and implementation.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies.
• Proven ability to solve complex software system issues.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering or computer science.
