Description

Lead the design and development of scalable, event-driven microservices architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Java web services and components based on detailed design documents.
• Build efficient, reusable code following OOP principles and industry best practices.
• Implement TDD approaches to ensure high unit-test coverage and quality requirements.
• Develop integration tests to verify end-to-end system behavior against acceptance criteria.
• Optimize application performance, quality, and responsiveness.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software development.
• Deep expertise in Java (version 8 or later).
• Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, and Spring REST services.
• Strong mastery of Microservices architecture and design patterns.
• Proven experience developing event-driven systems.
• Hands-on experience with RDBMS and NoSQL databases, specifically PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Proficiency in testing with JUnit, Mockito, and WireMock.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, and build tools like Maven or Gradle.
• Practical knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud providers like AWS or Azure.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Reactive and Functional Programming.
