Description

You will technically lead the engineering team in building a service-oriented data platform that integrates multiple data sources, including wearables and medical data systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define service-oriented architecture for cloud services, mobile, desktop, and web applications.
• Design flexible architectures to support diverse data sources and medical data systems.
• Collaborate with Algorithms and Data Science teams to define data transformations, storage, and machine learning interfaces.
• Lead the team through detailed design and oversee project execution to ensure implementation follows defined architecture.
• Retire technical risks early by validating core use cases under design control and providing mentorship.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of engineering experience with 3+ years as a technical lead or architect.
• Proven experience designing extensible service-oriented architectures on AWS or Azure.
• Extensive experience in software component and service development using Java, Python, or C#.
• Strong knowledge of AWS architecture, including security, reliability, and performance.
• Hands-on experience with REST and SOAP protocols.
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience conducting requirements and use case analysis for cloud-hosted data platforms.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with streaming technologies like Spark and Hadoop, or machine learning services like AWS SageMaker.
• Familiarity with medical device regulated environments or integration standards like HL7 FHIR.
• Experience with IDesign system design methods.
