Description

Lead technical design and architecture for global loyalty programs and complex distributed systems, owning the full product lifecycle from requirements to performance analysis while mentoring engineers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and technical design for global programs across multiple teams.
• Collaborate with engineering leadership, product managers, and stakeholders to design and scale global services.
• Own the full product and platform lifecycle from requirements elicitation to performance analysis.
• Mentor a team of engineers and provide hands-on technical leadership.
• Implement design practices that meet security, compliance, and data privacy standards.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science (or 8+ years with a Master’s).
• Expertise in Java microservices and E-commerce systems.
• Hands-on coding experience in Java and Python.
• Deep understanding of SOA, middleware solutions, and distributed systems.
• Experience building SOAP and RESTful services.
• Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases, including MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
• Experience architecting serverless and container-based components.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies, specifically service deployment and maintenance.
• Experience building real-time and batch data processing systems.

Preferred Skills

• Cloud Architect certification (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Experience with Kinesis, Kafka, Snowflake, Redshift, Hadoop, or Elasticsearch.
• Hands-on coding in PySpark and Scala.
