Description

You will design and architect scalable, distributed, and event-driven systems using Java and real-time stream processing technologies.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy real-time stream processing pipelines using Apache Kafka and Flink within secured, highly available architectures.
• Optimize stream processing workflows for performance, reliability, and low-latency processing.
• Implement monitoring and alerting solutions to maintain the health and stability of streaming pipelines.
• Contribute to the open source community through code commits, documentation, and forum engagement.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of hands-on Java coding experience.
• Expertise in building 12-factor Spring Boot applications.
• Deep knowledge of Apache Kafka and Apache Flink internals.
• Proven experience designing distributed systems and reactive, event-driven solutions.
• Experience with CI/CD automation tools including Bitbucket, Git, Jenkins, and Artifactory.
• Strong understanding of the SDLC process.
• Proficiency with SQL.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field.
• Previous experience in a lead position.
