Description

You will provide technical leadership and architectural governance for scalable microservices and data delivery architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of scalable microservices to support Risk Management functions.
• Provide technical leadership to software engineers and analysts through coaching and design/code reviews.
• Execute architectural solutions and troubleshoot complex technical problems using non-conventional approaches.
• Identify opportunities to automate remediation of recurring issues to improve operational stability.
• Partner with product management and global stakeholders to brainstorm and deliver software solutions.
• Drive engineering standards and lead the adoption of new technologies within architectural guidelines.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of professional experience in software engineering and system design.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Java Core, including concurrent programming and JVM internals like class loading and memory management.
• Deep expertise in the Spring Framework (Core, Integration, Batch, JDBC, JPA, Hibernate).
• Proven experience with REST-APIs and J2EE technologies.
• Practical experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and container orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
• Strong knowledge of RDBMS (preferably Oracle) and NoSQL (preferably MongoDB).
• Experience with distributed caching frameworks such as Oracle Coherence or Redis.
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and tools including Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, SonarQube, Jira, Snyk, and Checkmarx.
• Strong background in Agile processes and Test Driven Development (TDD).
• Familiarity with Linux environments and scripting.

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree in engineering.
• Experience building custom tooling for development and production teams.
