You provide technical leadership and architectural governance for scalable microservices and data delivery systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of scalable microservices for Risk Management functions.
• Coach software engineers and analysts through design and code reviews.
• Troubleshoot complex technical problems using non-conventional approaches.
• Automate remediation of recurring issues to improve operational stability.
• Drive engineering standards and adopt new technologies within architectural guidelines.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of professional experience in software engineering and system design.
• Deep expertise in Java Core, including concurrent programming and JVM internals (class loading, memory management).
• Extensive hands-on experience with the Spring Framework (Core, Integration, Batch, JDBC, JPA, Hibernate).
• Proven experience with REST APIs and J2EE technologies.
• Practical experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift).
• Strong knowledge of RDBMS (preferably Oracle) and NoSQL (preferably MongoDB).
• Experience with distributed caching frameworks such as Oracle Coherence or Redis.
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and tools including Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, SonarQube, Jira, Snyk, and Checkmarx.
• Strong background in Agile processes and Test Driven Development (TDD).

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree in engineering.
• Experience building custom tooling for development and production teams.
