Description

Drive technical leadership and architectural governance for scalable micro-services supporting Risk Management functions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable micro-services and functional components using Java/J2EE.
• Provide technical leadership through coaching, design reviews, and code reviews.
• Execute architectural solutions and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Automate remediation of recurring issues to improve operational stability.
• Lead the adoption of new technologies and improve engineering standards.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering and architecture.
• Expertise in Java/J2EE, including core Java and concurrent programming.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Framework (Core, Integration, Batch, JDBC, JPA, Hibernate).
• Proficiency in designing and developing REST-APIs.
• Practical experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with RDBMS (Oracle) and NoSQL (MongoDB).
• Deep understanding of JVM internals, including class loading and memory management.
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git/BitBucket, SonarQube, JIRA, Snyk, Checkmarx).

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree in engineering.
• Experience building custom tooling for development and production teams.
