Description

Lead technical direction and architectural governance for scalable microservices and data delivery systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable microservices to support Risk Management functions.
• Provide technical leadership and coaching to software engineers and analysts.
• Host design and code review sessions across multiple organizational levels.
• Identify opportunities to automate remediation of recurring issues for operational stability.
• Collaborate with product management, DevOps, and global engineering teams.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in software engineering and system design.
• Expertise in Java Core, concurrent programming, and JVM internals.
• Deep experience with Spring Framework (Core, Integration, Batch, JDBC, JPA, Hibernate).
• Hands-on backend development using Java/J2EE and REST APIs.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Container orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
• Strong knowledge of RDBMS (Oracle) and NoSQL (MongoDB).
• Experience with distributed caching (Oracle Coherence or Redis).
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Jira, Snyk, Sonar, Checkmarx, and Bitbucket.

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree in engineering.
