You will provide technical leadership and own architectural governance for system design.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable microservices supporting Risk Management functions.
• Execute creative architecture solutions, design, and technical troubleshooting beyond conventional approaches.
• Improve engineering standards and processes to enhance team capability and efficiency.
• Host sessions for design and code review across organizational levels.
• Identify opportunities to automate remediation of recurring issues to improve operational stability.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of hands-on experience delivering system design and application development for data delivery architectures.
• Full-stack development experience with 6+ years applying Object Oriented Design principles.
• Advanced knowledge of architecture and one or more programming languages.
• Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods.
• Hands-on experience with REST-APIs and Backend development using Java/J2EE technologies.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and deployment solutions like Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Experience with Agile development emphasizing test driven development.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tooling (e.g., JIRA, SONAR).
• Deep understanding of JVM internals (class loading, memory management).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Distributed Caching frameworks (Redis or equivalent).
• Familiarity with Linux environment and scripting.
