Description

Define end-to-end solution architecture for Capital Markets applications, focusing on scalable cloud-native designs on Microsoft Azure and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). This role drives application modernization, establishes engineering best practices, and leads technical governance for enterprise-scale systems.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design event-driven systems and microservices architectures using Kafka and RESTful APIs.
• Develop solution blueprints, high-level and low-level designs, and technical roadmaps.
• Drive application modernization and migration initiatives to cloud-native platforms.
• Ensure solutions meet security, scalability, performance, resiliency, and compliance requirements.
• Mentor development teams and lead architecture discussions and design reviews.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of overall IT experience with 5+ years in Architecture or Technical Lead roles.
• Strong expertise in Java, Microservices, and RESTful API design.
• Proven experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Hands-on experience with Kafka for messaging and event processing.
• Strong background in Capital Markets or Banking domain applications.
• Ability to define service decomposition, integration patterns, and data strategies.
• Experience with Python and Databricks is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data engineering pipelines using Databricks.
• Track record of leading large-scale migration initiatives.
