Description

You will lead the technical design and implementation of large-scale, multi-tiered enterprise applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Dictate technical standards for coding, tools, platforms, and UI development methodologies.
• Design multi-level architecture and component interactions for large-scale software systems.
• Execute performance test planning, failover planning, endurance testing, and deployment testing.
• Provide technical guidance to developers and perform code reviews for enterprise applications.
• Oversee development activities including data structures, logical database models, and data manipulation.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of professional experience in software architecture and design.
• 7+ years designing and implementing highly available, scalable multi-tier applications using Object Oriented or Service Oriented Architecture.
• 7+ years writing and maintaining code using EJB 3.0+ and JPA/Hibernate.
• 7+ years planning, designing, and implementing enterprise applications using JSF/JSP.
• 7+ years planning, designing, and implementing solutions using JAXB/JAX-WS.
• Expertise in Java, JEE, XML, and XSLT.
• Proficiency with IBM Portal and WebSphere Application development software.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.

Preferred Skills

• Experience preparing and reviewing technical documentation, including designs and schemas.
• Ability to act as the primary technical liaison with infrastructure teams to resolve performance issues.
