Description

Design and lead the technical direction for high-volume distributed systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect microservices and event-based systems using cloud-native and containerization patterns.
• Design data strategies involving ETL, data replication, and data aggregation.
• Develop high-performance systems utilizing Redis, Hazelcast, or Kafka for messaging and caching.
• Implement security protocols for application data, PII, and PCI compliance.
• Lead digital transformation patterns within complex enterprise environments.

Required Skills

• 18+ years of overall IT experience with at least 5 years in an architectural role.
• Expertise in Java and its related frameworks and technologies.
• Deep understanding of microservices and event-based architectures.
• Hands-on experience with RDBMS including Oracle and MS SQL.
• Proficiency with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, and DynamoDB.
• Experience with cloud-native applications and containerization.
• Knowledge of AWS RDS and DynamoDB.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AI/ML and Python.
