Description

You will drive high-level architecture and system interaction design for financial product capabilities including cards, payments, and rewards.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define C1 architecture and C2 system interaction designs to align multiple business capabilities across systems of record.
• Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, coordinating integration requirements and domain knowledge.
• Design event-driven architectures and integration patterns, ensuring systems communicate effectively with eventual consistency.
• Focus on orchestration, communication flows, and end-to-end design thinking rather than low-level implementation or heavy cloud infrastructure tasks.

Required Skills

• 14+ years of professional experience in software architecture and development.
• Strong proficiency in Java for backend system design.
• Experience with AWS for architectural context, though not deep implementation.
• Knowledge of Kafka for event-driven messaging and system integration.
• Understanding of integration patterns, system orchestration, and eventual consistency models.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical architectural solutions.
