Design and develop large-scale software systems for data assembly and correspondence mailing.

Responsibilities

• Design multi-level architectures and component interactions for large-scale systems.
• Dictate technical standards, including coding standards, tools, and platforms.
• Perform analysis, design, coding, unit testing, and integration testing for modernization efforts.
• Provide production support and perform application performance tuning.
• Mentor junior programmers and create detailed design documentation.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of professional software development experience.
• 72 months of Java programming within an IBM environment using Rational Application Developer (RAD) and WebSphere Application Server (WAS).
• 84 months of IBM Mainframe COBOL programming experience.
• 84 months of IBM DB2 for z/OS experience.
• 84 months of installing, configuring, patching, and testing OpenText Exstream software.
• 84 months of experience developing tax processing systems within a federal, state, or municipal agency.
• Experience architecting complex business applications.
